Terms of Service

By using BrokenBuys you agree to these terms.

BrokenBuys is a peer to peer marketplace for broken, damaged, and salvage items. We facilitate transactions between buyers and sellers but are not a party to any transaction.

Must be 18 or older to use the platform. Must be a legal resident of a supported country.

The following are strictly prohibited:

• Stolen goods or items obtained illegally
• Counterfeit or replica items misrepresented as authentic
• Hazardous materials or dangerous chemicals
• Weapons, firearms, or weapon parts
• Recalled items that pose safety risks
• Items that violate any applicable law

• Accurately describe item condition and damage
• Ship within 3 business days of payment
• Provide valid tracking information
• Honor accepted offers and purchases

• Complete payment within 48 hours of offer acceptance
• Accurately report item condition upon receipt
• Not misuse the dispute process

• Sellers pay a 12% platform fee on completed sales
• Buyers pay a 3% buyer protection fee on all purchases
• Fees are non-refundable on completed transactions

All payments are processed through Stripe. Funds are held in escrow until buyer confirms receipt. BrokenBuys is not responsible for Stripe payment processing issues.

Contact us at support@brokenbuys.com within 3 days of delivery if item is significantly not as described. We will mediate disputes but final decisions are at our discretion.

• Fee avoidance (transacting outside the platform)
• Creating fake listings or reviews
• Harassing other users
• Attempting to defraud buyers or sellers

BrokenBuys is not liable for any damages arising from transactions between users. Maximum liability is limited to fees paid to BrokenBuys in the last 30 days.

We may update these terms at any time. Continued use constitutes acceptance of updated terms.
